Kel Mittr
Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about Kel Mittr — a wellness companion and AI assistant for logging and summarising your day.
General
What is Kel Mittr?
Kel Mittr is a voice-first wellness companion for Android. Saya is the assistant inside it. You log meals, habits, sleep, cycles and how you feel — mostly by speaking in your own language — and ask questions grounded in what you have actually logged.
Is Kel Mittr a medical device?
No. Kel Mittr is a general wellness and self-tracking companion. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent disease, and it is not a hospital, clinic or telemedicine service. Always consult a healthcare provider for medical advice.
What languages does Kel Mittr support?
English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, Malayalam, Gujarati, and Marathi — for voice input, typed logging, and Ask Saya replies.
Is Kel Mittr available on iPhone?
Android only today. iOS is not part of the current private beta.
Voice & logging
How does voice logging work?
Tap the microphone, speak naturally, and Kel Mittr extracts symptoms, food, exercise, and more. You review a confirm card — nothing is saved until you approve.
Can I type instead of speaking?
Yes. You can type meals, symptoms, exercise, and supplements directly in the Saya thread.
Does Kel Mittr understand Indian food?
Yes. The catalog covers roughly 2,700 Indian dishes with regional names — from puttu payar to chicken 65. Reference nutrition comes from national tables where we have a source, and we leave a gap rather than invent a number.
Can I log for previous days?
Yes, up to 15 days back. Say “yesterday” in a voice note or pick the date when you log manually.
Cycles & PCOS
How should I read cycle predictions?
Kel Mittr learns from your logged cycle history and shows a date range for your next period, not a single guaranteed day. Ranges widen when cycles are irregular. These are personal estimates only — not for contraception, and not a clinical forecast.
I have PCOS. Is Kel Mittr right for me?
Yes — as a diary. You can log the symptoms and meals that matter to you, and ranges stay honest when cycles are irregular. It does not diagnose PCOS or replace your clinician.
Can I use Kel Mittr for birth control?
No. Fertile-window and cycle predictions are estimates only and are not suitable for contraception or pregnancy prevention.
Ask Saya
What can I ask Saya?
Wellness questions about your cycle, symptoms, nutrition, and habits. Saya answers using your logged data when relevant — for example, “What did I eat this week?” or “What phase am I in?”
Can I ask Saya by voice?
Yes. Record a voice question in your language. Saya transcribes it and replies in text in the chat thread.
Does Saya remember previous conversations?
Yes, within a session and across recent logs. Saya can reference patterns from your diary when answering wellness questions.
Privacy & data
Is my health data safe?
Health data is encrypted and handled under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act. Voice processing requires explicit consent.
Can I delete my account and data?
Yes. You can delete your account from Settings. You can also export your data before deleting.
Does Kel Mittr sell my data?
No. We do not sell personal or health data to advertisers, data brokers, or insurers.
Access & pricing
How do I get Kel Mittr?
Kel Mittr is in a private Android beta with invite-only access on Android.
How much does it cost?
Pricing for paid plans is shown in the app via Google Play when you subscribe. During the private beta, access terms are communicated with your invite.
Everyday wellness
What is the camera wellness check?
An optional, on-device glance at pulse and breathing rhythm using your phone camera. It is a personal self-check — not a clinical reading, and not a substitute for a clinician or a home monitor you already trust.
What is guided calm breathing?
A simple on-screen pacer that expands and settles at a pace you choose, with plain cues such as “inhale deeply” and “exhale slowly”. It is a mindfulness aid, not treatment.
Personal notes
Can I share notes with my doctor?
Yes. You can export an organised summary of meals, habits, cycles and how you have felt — so a conversation starts from what you logged, not what you remember in the room.
Is that summary a diagnosis?
No. It is your own self-reported diary, arranged so it is easier to review. It does not diagnose or treat anything.
